As you know, Macon Road Baptist Church is totally dependent on God’s people giving to support our many ministries.  Our Lord has commanded that we bring at least a tithe, ten percent of our total income, to the house of God to finance the Lord’s work. 

Malachi 3:8-10 “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”  

Your tithe should be given to the church where you are a member.  If you are not a member of a church we would appreciate your sending your tithe to Macon Road Baptist Church to help in the work of our Lord.  Those who give a tithe to their church are asked to prayerfully consider giving Macon Road Baptist Church a love offering to be used to advance the kingdom of God here on earth. You may send your check to our church office at 1082 Berclair, Memphis, TN 38122 or you may call and use your credit card to give your gift of love to support our Lord’s work. 

 A record of your giving to Macon Road Baptist Church will be kept and mailed to you at the end of the year to be used when you file your taxes.  It is so much better to used God’s money to support His work than to pay it in additional taxes each year. 

 Giving back to God what is already His will bring blessings upon your life.  Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
